March 2026 Update

La Fuente Kickoff!

We’re excited to share that our programs in San Salvador and Apopa have officially begun! We are off to a great start, and here are some things you'll want to know about:

• La Fuente Apopa: We started with an activity to help the students set goals for the new school year. It is exciting to see how the students are looking ahead and prioritising their grades and health.

• La Fuente San Salvador: We have had an excellent first few weeks and are thrilled to be working with new math, English, and language tutors.

• Graduate Program: Rocky and Shaina Higgins, Alliance Missionaries here in El Salvador, have recently started a discipleship group with some of the current and past La Fuente Students. We are very encouraged to see these students further develop into the men and women God created them to be.

Recruiting New Tutors!

This week, we had the amazing opportunity to visit some local universities in search of more tutors for the La Fuente program. We had many students sign up from different areas of study and we look forward to the impact their contribution will have. Our students always enjoy the chance to learn new skills such as english, art, or graphic design.

Team Season has Started

We are once again in team season and are so excited to welcome back many church groups and teams over the upcoming spring/summer season. Here is our first group! We had a fantastic time getting to know this team and seeing them establish connections with the kids. The La Fuente students were sad to see them go and would have chased them down the street if they could! Thank you for loving our kids and all your hard work!
