Greetings from San Salvador! Saludos desde San Salvador!

After a busy summer team season we have much to be thankful to the Lord for, including all of our supporters and the greater 'Envision Family' from all over the US.

First we want to start with an enormous THANK YOU to each and every team and intern that worked with us this year. This work continues because YOU are invested in El Salvador and we are so grateful for your partnership and willingness to serve alongside us. We pray that the seeds we sow to the Lord will produce an abundant harvest in years to come!

Here are just a few of our summer teams.

To be part of a team next year visit:

Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 2 Corinthians 9:10

We are thankful for our new Administrative Assistant, Jairo, who is half way through his trail period. He will be a huge help in the office in regards to the accounting and admin department.

Genna!
Genna!

We would also like to introduce you to Genna Huisinga from Minnesota, our Current Intern at Envision. She loves working with the kids in the La Fuente programs and is a wonderful addition to the team!

Pray that the fruit from this year's internship would bring much honour and glory to God as she grows in faith and reliance on Him.

La Fuente & Scholarship Programs

Here in El Salvador, our students are in the last period of the school year and they are striving to finish with good grades. Just in Apopa alone we have 5 youth who are hoping to participate in the Scholarship Program! We would love to bless each one of them in this way and so if you or your church would be interested in sponsoring a student this upcoming year, please visit our Scholarship page. We can only provide these with your help!

A scholarship for these students means a full high school education that will adequately equip them to continue further studies. Without this opportunity, many youth discontinue attending school and decide to look for work, which often proves inadequate and provides little economic security. We believe God has better in store for them!

Did you know?

In other news, did you know you can now order Envision Coffee from the United States as well as El Salvador? Those who have been on our short-term teams have tried our coffee and now it is available to everyone! This project also supports our ministries!

Just follow this link to go to our Coffee Page: https://www.envisionelsalvador.org/envision-coffee or email esenvisioncoffee@gmail.com

To close, we thank you for your continued support. May you be blessed and encouraged by the Lord as you enter this fall season with gratefulness for all He has done. HE is a good and faithful God!

"Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does."

Psalm 145:13

Dios los bendiga amigos! God bless you friends!

How you can pray with us this month:

  • pray for Christopher's mom, who has been quite ill and unable to work. Pray that she will be able to attend his graduation. (Christopher is one of our Scholarship students completing his education this year.)

  • For our staff - for wisdom, health, & provision in their personal lives as well as in the ministry of Envision.

  • For financial provision for our director Tony Escalante, his wife Claudia and family, as they are currently in the US. If you'd like to support their ministry, follow the link: https://secure.cmalliance.org/give/ (click on the choice 'a worker you love' and follow the instructions)

  • For all the youth in our Envision programs. Pray that they would each come to know and put their faith in Jesus; pray for their emotional well-being; pray that they would embrace the truth of who God says they are - his beloved children - and pursue his purposes for their lives.
